I BUGGERED OFF BACK TO THE HILLS OF PENNSYLVANIA!
I missed last week because I was out east on a planned vacation, and decided to give myself the next few days off of production. The holiday was coming up so it made sense to keep things smooth for a few days.
I covered the PA trip on this week’s Radcracker. It was a semi-regular meetup with my brothers as we chased the Vegas Golden Knights across Philly and Pitt, where they unfortunately lost two road games, but I had fun. Still planning a video about the whole thing.
WRITING

READING
Audible has a sale going right now, so that’s a donkey kick to the nuts of my finances. Haha. Major influx of books incoming.
I didn’t read anything during this decompression week, which is fine because I read TEN BOOKS before I went to Pennsylvania. 8 were audio, most of those were short, two were books I’d read before. As always there are qualifiers.
This week I have two long books to finish: NEVERNIGHT by Kristoff, and DESTROYER OF WORLDS by Correia (a re-read.) I’ll probably throw in something else along the way.
DRAWING
FINISHED WITH THE COVER! It will launch after I do one more round of edits and formatting for the ebook. Reminder that this book won’t be available in a solo print edition, I need to edit GUILD and put both these stories in one volume.

VIDEO
Here’s my Thanksgiving address for 2023. I’ve got two more videos in the cooker. Meanwhile my Mayflower Pilgrims video has gone thermonuclear–this week alone would give me the 4k watch hours I need for monetization if I hadn’t already reached them. I currently have 1,558 subscribers and 80% of those are from that video alone. Very happy with how the channel has grown this year and like so many things, I owe it to the Pilgrims.

FITNESS
PectoCracker is officially at 23,000. I have 5 weeks left to do 2,000 pushups. I will probably step up the production here so I knock them out before Christmas. The week before New Year’s is another decompression period where I figure out my next round of goals.
For example, I haven’t really lost or kept any weight off this year, but I know I’m measuring different, so I need to look at other numbers. Waist, chest, etc. I still carry more blub than I’d like. That’s a consequence of my schedule.
